Liberal Arts in Business

By uniting the liberal arts with business-related courses, the Liberal Arts in Business program at the University of St. Thomas prepares you for a fulfilling career. We actively encourage our students to engage with each other and prepare for their career search throughout their undergraduate career.

Why Minor in the Liberal Arts in Business Program at St. Thomas?

You will elect a major field of study from the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. As you progress in the Liberal Arts in Business program, you will complete business-related courses with your liberal arts classes, and you will participate in an internship as well. Many of our alumni choose to return to St. Thomas after graduation and complete additional undergraduate business courses tuition-free.

  • Course Requirements

    You will complete six courses in the minor throughout your college career. You take classes in economics, statistics or computer science, three in business and one capstone seminar. All students are required to complete an internship as part of this program too.

    Our program is interdisciplinary and flexible, meaning you can pair the minor with a number of other programs at St. Thomas. We recommend connecting with the program director early in your undergraduate career to plan your time at St. Thomas.
